Mitchell & Brown taking giant step toward global success after featuring in new FIFA 18 game

A BOLTON electrical company is looking to make waves globally after being featured in the new version of FIFA 18.
Mitchell & Brown is a newly formed part of the TVD Group, a family run audio visual and technology solutions company based in the heart of Bolton.
Established in the mid-nineties by lifelong Wanderers’ supporters Jim Brown and his two sons Mat and Dan, the company are this season official back of the shirt sponsors of The Whites’.
Now, after the release of the new video game, any player that chooses to play the game as Bolton Wanderers will see the company logo on their screens.
The game is one of the most popular purchased worldwide, with millions of copies sold annually.
Managing director of the TVD Group, Mat Brown, aged 41, said: “When we became the sponsors of the Super Whites, little did we know of the impact our great club could have on our business.
“Football is our passion and we knew it would help build brand awareness but the global reach that our sponsorship deal has given us is incredible.”
Dan Brown, aged 45, who also helps to run TVD Group, said: “With an incredible 15,000,000 plus copies of FIFA 17 sold, we have no doubt at all that the Mitchell & Brown logo will feature on millions of TV screens globally.
“If you are lucky enough to pick up a copy of FIFA 18 this year, be sure to check out our proudly featured logo on the back of the Bolton Wanderers FC shirt.”
FIFA 18 was released at midnight on Friday with fans cueing outside gaming shops nationwide. At GAME in Newport Street, Wanderers’ Spanish defender Derik Osede met fans to give the new game a go, playing Bolton vs Bolton matches.
“I really like the new version,” he said. “I think that it is much improved from last year and is much easier to play. I am happy that I could be here today to try it out with the fans of the club and of the game. I will definitely be buying it to play myself.”
