For so many football fans, nothing can ever beat the feeling of going to watch your team play live at their home stadium.
No matter how many hours are spent on the road, or how much it costs, supporting a football club is often a lifelong commitment.
That is the case for Graham Howarth and his sons Matt & Harry. The family from Wokingham, Berkshire, made the 430-mile round trip to see the opening game of the 2017/2018 Championship season last weekend against Leeds United.
On arrival, they headed straight to the club shop to purchase the new season home shirt, each adding the name of their favourite Bolton Wanderers player.
As many fans will already know, the current replica shirts don’t feature the Mitchell & Brown LED TV logo. However, the Howarth family were insistent on having this added to their kit and we are so glad they did! They look brilliant!
Dan Brown, a lifelong Bolton Wanderers fan and Mitchell & Brown Director, met up with the family to share stories of the Super Whites and learn more about their journey.
Dan Brown commented “After hearing of the families persistence to have the Mitchell & Brown LED TV logo on their shirt, we have kindly donated Mitchell & Brown 32” Smart LED TV’s to both boys. Now, even if they can’t travel to the game, they can watch the mighty Wanderers on their Mitchell & Brown TV!”
