The Halberd Inn opens its doors to the punters in Ipswich, formally known as PJ McGinty’s. A pub dating back to the 17th century with a vast amount of historical features, features that have all been preserved in the refurbishment project.
The design for the refurbished pub is to focus on entertainment, sports and events throughout the year, with simple food (fish and chips, burgers, waffles). In the past, it has traded as a wet-led Irish themed pub and the aim is to continue in the same way.
The owners wanted to equip the pub with screens across the premises in preparation for the upcoming holiday season and major sporting events.
TVC Technology Solutions were the chosen supplier and installer, they opted to install our sensational 4K TV models, in total 8 x 65″ TV’s across the premises, consisting of 5 × 65” Mitchell & Brown Ultra HD 4K LED TV’s (JB-651811FSM4K) across the main bar, well room and function room, offering the desired big screen viewing experience with remarkable visuals.
